Community Healing.
Every community carries the unseen weight of spiritual pain, yet few have the professional resources to address it deeply. Our work bridges this gap through Board Certified Chaplaincy Care, offering a clinical and compassionate anchor for collective restoration. We provide a specialized path for healing, ensuring that spiritual distress is met with expert practice and profound care.
Signature Program: Black Spiritual Trauma Care (BSTC)
Black Spiritual Trauma Care, known as BSTC, is a chaplaincy-led community healing model designed to support Black communities and other urban communities impacted by trauma, grief, violence, aging, illness, caregiver stress, social isolation, and spiritual distress.
BSTC is not therapy. It does not replace clinical mental healthcare. Instead, we provide professional spiritual and emotional care while collaborating with clinical, social service, and community partners to ensure restorative healing.
BSTC helps communities:
Process grief and loss
Specialized spiritual support for collective mourning and personal bereavement.
Address spiritual distress
Clinically-informed care for questioning meaning, faith, and existence after trauma.
Create safe spaces for healing
Facilitated circles that foster psychological safety and spiritual connection.
Support seniors and caregivers
Expert guidance for those navigating aging, illness, and the weight of caregiving.
Respond to community trauma
Strategic spiritual response for neighborhoods impacted by violence or systemic stress.
Restore meaning and hope
Professional practices focused on communal dignity and future resilience.

Why This Work Matters
Holistic Spiritual Care and BSTC were created to stand in that gap.
Many people are living with unprocessed grief, silent trauma, spiritual exhaustion, and emotional pain. In Black and urban communities, these wounds are often intensified by violence, housing stress, poverty, aging, illness, family disruption, caregiver burden, and systemic inequities.
Clinical care is essential, but not every wound presents first as a clinical need. Some pain shows up as spiritual distress. Some grief needs sacred space. Some communities need trusted facilitators who understand both trauma and faith, both professional care and lived community experience.
